Dr. Houts holds B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering from the University of Florida. He worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory and is currently Nuclear Research Manager at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. Houts has co-authored over 100 technical papers and received NASA's Distinguished Service Medal in 2020. A staunch evolutionist through his early twenties, Dr. Houts and his wife were baptized into the Christ in 1999.
